Right to Try laws empower patients, in consultation with their providers, to access promising investigational treatments without Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval. These policies provide an important treatment pathway for Americans who cannot participate in clinical trials. Expanding and protecting Right to Try regulations ensures Americans maintain autonomy and are not denied potential life-saving options due to unnecessary bureaucratic barriers.
